You all know this already, but I'll explain it for those who don't understand what's going on. As you can see the forum width has increased to 95% of your window size. This means we use more of that awesome screen real-estate and can fit more into posts like large images. But for those of you who don't like the change, I've made a little something for you.

At the bottom of the screen are three buttons:

Fixed - Makes the page a fixed 990 pixels wide.
Fluid - Makes the page 95% of your window size (May cause problems for smaller screens).
OMG DOGS - Does some crazy shit and is toggle'able. Simply click it again to turn it off.

Clicking 'Fixed' will download a cookie to your browser and allow you to save your settings. Clicking 'Fluid' reverts this same cookie to null, setting the screen to the default size.

Edit: Oh, and if it breaks, don't worry. It just means I'm working on it.

Yeeeeah.
PAC. Player Appearance Customiser.

As you might have noticed in Chessnut's changelog, he added a certain flag regarding PAC.

We were originally intending to keep it a secret and then make an announcement, however as the flag thing didn't cover ENTIRELY what we had planned I'm gonna make this announcement to sum up what you need to know.

What is PAC?

Player Apperance Customiser is a very incredibly well made plugin/addon for Gmod. What it allows is that you can, among other things:
-Add props to your playermodel and customise it, for instance adding a radio attached to your shoulder, or a hat on your head.
-Make custom animations for this, for instance holding a cup of coffee.
-Combine different models, allowing you to for instance make an off-duty CP model, a CP without a gasmask basically.
-Add weaponclasses to the props you add, for instance if you create a stunstick prop on your belt, you can make it so that it vanishes from the belt when you equip it in your hand.

And many other things.
I'll show you some screenshots on how it can look.

Click the pictures and have a look.

Nice! But wait, why does it say "Teaser"?

Well, with the flag Chessnut added the PAC flag will only be given to donators. Everyone can still use PAC, but in order for other people to actually SEE your own PAC, you need the flag too. However, what the flag is actually doing at the moment is preventing people from using the PAC editor while on server.

The q flag will be given to VIP members (donators).

This means that, until the flag has been fixed, everyone can use PAC by using the editor in Single Player to create their PACs and then use them on the server. However, as soon as it's working as it should, PAC will be donator only.

Consider this a teaser! ANY ABUSE OF PAC WILL RESULT IN A HARSH BAN FROM THE SERVER.

Here's an updated PAC content pack you can DL:

Regarding the size of the downloads etc, it will probably be changed soon so just hold tight on that end.

Grim will also be making a tutorial on how to use PAC, so stay tuned for that!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

It's critical to note that PAC is an extended physical description. This means that if you place a pistol + holster on your character, then we'll firsthand take it ICly. If you then apparently don't HAVE any pistol or holster, we will most likely revoke your PAC/ban you for abuse.

Also keep in mind we (well mainly mobinet lololol) have been pretty busy lately so we still have to work this through properly before you can consider it to be fully operational. Just stick tight, our developers and Mobinet are doing their best! What you can do in return is simply to play on the server and enjoy yourself! Thanks!

Yo, yo.
Those of you who were on the server a few moments ago probably noticed the spadonkulous amount of lag. I can now confirm that we're being DoSed. I think we all knew this was inevitable and that somewhere down the line, some kid was going to chunder packets all over our server. Sorry about the down-time, all I can say is sit-tight whilst I try and sort this out with my hosts.
